New for Industry Partners: RET Alternate Alternate Entry Packet

Applications will be accepted for industry partner employees who would like to take an approved course within the RET program in order to increase knowledge on a specific skillset or to fulfill a credential in renewable energy and related fields. To learn more, download the application packet.

Check Out CGCC's New Climb Tower!

Renewable Energy Technology students gain an opportunity to practice wind tower climbing, work in a confined space and rescue techniques. The new climbing tower on the TD campus will be an essential part of the first-year RET curriculum.

RET students at Columbia Gorge Community College come from many great places and continue to do many great things.

Some RET students already have degrees and are looking for a change. Other RET students want to start their career in renewable energy. RET students have gone on to host community forums on renewable energy, particpate in national leadership meetings, take positions as traveling wind technicians across the United States, and work in fields of wind-power, solar-power, or hydro-power.
